As a traveler and photographer, I try to capture the essence and the spirit of places I visit, their people and cultures. My objective is to combine composition, light and color into insightful, evocative, storytelling images, rather than simply sightseeing or travelogue snapshots. This Bishnoi woman baking bread in a Rajasthani village near Jodhpur, India, is a good example. I love the process and technology of printing my own photographs, which I believe is just as exciting and creative as initially capturing them.
